Acupuncture

Acupuncture is one of the components of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In this ancient technique which is being used for thousands of years an sterile tiny needle inserted in certain points and stimulate Qi flow within the body. This Qi moves in the body and passes through different channels named meridians. There are 12 meridians in the body: Lung, Heart, Pericardium, Triple Burner, Small Intestine, Large Intestine, Spleen, Kidney, Liver, Gall Bladder, Urinary Bladder and Stomach. Normally acupuncture doesn't have pain or discomfort, however it depends of each individual sensitivity. There are more than 350 acupuncture points which can be used in this treatment. Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, with this stimulation, the body can re-balance itself and removes negative energy. Today’s Science has revealed that Acupuncture affects the body through the nervous and hormonal systems.
